About the show

A Travelling Light and Bristol Old Vic co-production.

Weston Studio, Bristol Old Vic: Fri 2 Dec 2022 - Sun 8 Jan 2023

Based on Belle and Sebastien by Cécile Aubry.

Belle and Sebastien have run into the mountains, away from everyone and everything.

Born on the same day seven years ago, this boy and this dog have yearned forever to feel like they belong.

Now all they have is each other – and they don’t even realise it yet.

Join these mischievous, playful, kindred spirits as they adventure into the wild to escape and discover themselves.

Can they forge a friendship strong enough to survive the perils of the mountain? Could they even find a place to call home?

Belle and Sebastien is a story of love and friendship set against the backdrop of snowy mountains and stormy relationships.

A classic family tale, reimagined by two of the South West’s strongest co-producing partners, Travelling Light and Bristol Old Vic.

For ages 4+ and their families.
