Collaborate With Us
There are many different ways that we enjoy working with organisations and education settings – from co-producing new work, to partnering with specialist organisations to support regular, inclusive activities for families in our local community.
If you are an organisation or education setting looking to work with us, please read more below about the different ways we could work together, and please do get in touch.
If you are an artist, visit our practice page to find out more about how we work with artists, and our jobs and opportunities page, to find out about our opportunities.
At Travelling Light we work with care, collaboration and consideration.
We are dedicated to working with and for children and young people - listening to and responding to the needs of our audiences and local community. This sometimes comes in the shape of working with others who do the same.
What we have to offer
-

Continuing Professional Development (CPD)
We have been offering CPD workshops and packages for artists and educators for many years and always tailor these to the needs of the audience. Our current offer includes workshops on Making Theatre for Children and Young Audiences and Facilitation for Children and Young People.
If you would like to explore another CPD offer for your organisation or setting, please get in touch. -

Partnerships
Our programme is built on strong partnerships. Whether this has come from us joining forces to respond to a need together, us noticing a gap in expertise that could be filled by somebody else; or us building on existing work to form a more formal partnership. If you are looking to make change happen collaboratively or we are already working together and you would like a more formal partnership – please get in touch to explore how this could work.
-

Consultancy/Bespoke Training
We can offer training and consultancy to support cultural organisations, artists and educators who are developing their practice in the following areas: making work with and for children and young people; working with schools; working with early years settings; working with Disabled young people; working with the community; facilitation. We do charge for our time to ensure the costs for staff planning and delivery are covered. Please get in touch to find out more.
