Our moving storytelling tale for ages 5+ toured to schools, community venues and professional venues in autumn 2018.

The show was devised by the company and shaped by visits from local school children who would join the team in the rehearsal room.

Following 4 free performances to local communities in Bristol, provided by the housing association, United Communities, and two free community performances in our studio, the show went on to delight audiences in the South West and Wales.

During the tour, Three Kings visited residential homes in South Gloucester in partnership with Theatre Orchard, where local primary school children were invited to enjoy the show with the residents. 

"Have you ever seen such a night as this?  so many stars, so many stories, which one is yours?"

Three weary travellers from far off lands meet by chance as night approaches, all looking to the darkening skies.  As shadows draw in, they overcome their suspicions of each other and exchange stories; stories of love, stories of loss, stories of kings.  Where have they come from and where are they going and what is so special about this night?  How many stars are there in the sky, is there such a thing as chance or do the constellations have a plan mapped out for each and every one of us?

Travelling Light brings its inventive and fresh twist to a classic tale.  Three Kings fuses storytelling, song, dance and puppetry in a sparkling show about finding out where you belong, overcoming your differences and listening to the secret stargazer in each of us.
