Youth Theatre

Create - Perform - Experience - Connect - Tell your story

We run four weekly youth theatre groups from our studio at Wellspring Settlement, Barton Hill, Bristol, for ages 6-16.

Each group offers a space for play, creativity, new experiences, friendships and fun. No experience or audition necessary, these groups are open to everyone and provide a safe space for young people to express themselves each week.

Create and perform your own work. We are devising company which means you shape the stories we tell each other.

Connect with friends, discover new skills and have fun.

Experience working with professional directors, designers and choreographers.

At A Glance

6 - 9’s: Wednesdays, 4.30-5.30pm
10-12’s: Wednesdays, 6-7.30pm
13-16’s: Mondays, 6-7.30pm
Louder Than Words (for D/deaf and Disabled young people): Mondays, 5.30-6.30pm

Fees are £58 per term (8 sessions). Bursary places are available for those that need them. Please contact

Access

We want to ensure that children and families can access and enjoy our work, and to reduce barriers wherever we can. For example:

We try to make sure all our Youth Theatre groups are inclusive and there are young people with additional needs in all our groups. Please speak to us about your child’s requirements and we can discuss the group that might be the best fit.
We use a variety of resources to engage young people in the sessions
There is step free access to the Travelling Light studio and an accessible toilet.
Louder Than Words is a specialist Youth Theatre group for Disabled young people.
We use a visual timetable to help participants understand the format of the session and the room is set up in the same way each week.
