Louder Than Words

Louder Than Words is a unique drama group for Disabled young people aged 7-15 years.

Each week young people can have fun, make friends and learn new skills in drama, music and storytelling in a supported and friendly environment with a team of experienced practitioners.

Sessions are planned with the individual needs of young people in mind and delivered in a way which supports each group member’s development and participation and plays to their strengths.

Each term young people have the opportunity to share what they have learnt and created with their families.

The group meets on a Monday from 5.30-6.30pm

ActionSpeak and our Summer School for Disabled children

ActionSpeak ran for 5 years and was a free theatre group for young disabled people aged 16+, provided by Travelling Light, in partnership with WECIL (The West of England Centre for Inclusive Living). The weekly group has now stopped.

In 2023 and 2024 we ran a summer school offer in partnership with WECIL for this age group, with plans to offer this provision each summer. Get in touch with WECIL to find out more.
