What happens when you go through a mysterious portal into another world?
On the other side you find yourself in a magical forest, alive with wonder and excitement.
Here, you’ll meet other enchanting creatures preparing for a big festival… but there is a problem.
Join us on this brand-new adventure, as we explore traditions, memories and solve problems; resulting in one unforgettable celebration.
The Forest Door is a new theatre offer for primary aged children, incorporating performance, interactive in-classroom activities, and support and resources for teachers and families.
Grown from the imaginations of young people – The Forest Door is based on ideas from local children who took part in the development in Bristol and Exeter.
For children aged 5-11 and their families.
Performance: 45-50 mins
Full experience: 2-2.5 hours
A Travelling Light Theatre company production.
The Forest Door is touring from 24 February - 7 March 2026.
