Yes Let’s Appeal

Four months ago we launched our ambitious Yes Let’s Appeal to raise £50,000 to invest in creative childhoods and transforms children’s lives in Barton Hill, Bristol and beyond.

We put everything into the appeal and so did you - From marathons to family races, ‘danceathons’ to dinner parties, direct donations to film screenings and picnics the appeal has been full of joy and energy.

Together we raised £32,000 – and although we didn’t quite reach of our £50,000 target all donations are eligible to be matched £1 for £1 by Arts Council England.

The money raised will help us to reach more children and families helping us to continue to deliver projects, activities and creative experiences.

Activities like Inside Story, a week of free creative play activities for 5 – 7 year olds who live in our local community, Barton Hill.

Barton Hill, where we are based has the highest rate of child poverty in Bristol. Keeping the provision free and providing free lunches for the children means that no one misses out due financial barriers.

Together, we are investing in creative childhoods.
