Watch our new film & support our campaign

We have released a short film about our youth theatre for young disabled people and launched a campaign to secure funding for the groups.
ActionSpeak and Louder Than Words provide a vital space for connection and creativity.
Each week 30 disabled young people enjoy sessions packed with play and imagination. They express themselves, have fun, make friends and learn new skills in drama, music and storytelling in a supported and friendly environment.

Members of ActionSpeak and Louder Than Words discuss what they enjoy most about attending, alongside insights from the facilitators.
The past 18 months have been particularly difficult for young disabled people, with Covid-19 creating increased isolation and anxiety for many. That is why we have continued to run weekly drama sessions online throughout the pandemic. The groups have provided a regular space for creative adventures at home, supporting friendships, connection and wellbeing.
This summer, we are delighted to be returning to face-to-face sessions in the studio, with flexible support to meet each young person’s needs.
But ActionSpeak and Louder Than Words cost £9,000 to run each term.
That is why we have launched a fundraising campaign to raise the funding needed to run these groups from Autumn 2021 onwards.
