Vanguard Self Storage Charity Ride to support Travelling Light
Published on 25 August 2021.
We are delighted that the lovely folk from Vanguard Self Storage in Bristol are organising a 50 mile charity bike ride and have chosen Travelling Light as one of their charities to support alongside Brandon Trust.
A team of cyclists, led Lakhvinder Singh and Paul Robson, are taking on the 50-mile cycle challenge on 5 September 2021.
Lakhvinder and Paul have personal reasons for taking on this challenge and supporting these charities. Lakhvinder has a family member with autism and Paul is an uncle to 4 in his family who also have autism.
Both Lakhvinder and Paul's families have accessed the fantastic services that Brandon Trust provide and they were also keen to support the youth theatre groups at Travelling Light that provide a vital space for connection and creativity for young people with disabilities.
"We want to show our appreciation for the valuable work they do for disabled young people and help to make a difference by supporting them with this charity ride. We work for a brilliant company that encourages us to work with local charities.
We have worked with different charities before and now we have chosen two local charities that are close to our hearts. Vanguard Self Storage have supported us every step of the way!"
They are looking for participants to join them. If you are interested in taking part or would like more information, email Lakhvinder at email@example.com.
