Adventure In Style
The friendliest duckling in all of Bristol is visiting Travelling Light and Tobacco Factory Theatres this Christmas, and you can join in the adventure.
Thanks to our friends at Bristol Ferry Boats, you and your family can enjoy a discounted trip on the river before or even after seeing the show. Adults can travel for as little as £1 on presentation of a theatre ticket, and (here’s the best bit) under 5’s will travel for free!
Get ready to spot ducks, cormorants and if you’re very lucky you might even catch sight of a very familiar swan.
When you’ve checked the timetable, wrap up warm, snuggle into your seats and join our scruffy, clumsy and slightly wobbly hero as she sets off on an epic journey to find the place where she truly belongs.
Travelling Light and Tobacco Factory Theatre’s warming wintery show delighted audiences in 2007, when it received 5 star reviews and and toured throughout the UK. Now the production is back to celebrate it’s 10th birthday and bring innovative, exciting, excellent theatre to a new generation of Bristol Ducklings.

To follow Duckie’s example and begin your own little adventure, simply wait for a ferry at one of the stations along the river and travel to Bristol Marina. Tobacco Factory Theatres is a 13 minute walk from there (15 if you have little flippers).
We’d love to hear about your watery escapades - Honk, quack or tweet us @tl_theatre #BristolDuckling
