Youth Theatre

Are you interested in having fun, learning new skills and being creative?  If you are, you might want to join one of our three youth theatre groups.  No previous experience is necessary, we just need your enthusiasm amd committment. We aim to make youth theatre a positive experience for everyone involved. to help them become more confident in all aspects of their lives.

We enable youth theatre members to create their own original plays, using ideas that have come from them.  These might be shown to family and friends or they might be performed publicly. e.g Fusion recently took their show Paper wings to the Unicorn Theatre in London and Take Out performed their latest show, Nameless, at the Brewery Theatre in Bristol.

The youth theatre is run by, Jen Camillin and depending on the project, different expertise is brought in e.g. designers, musicians, film-makers, professional actors, choreographers. We ensure that all staff working with the youth theatre are qualified and CRB checked.

Each group is for a different age group: Youth Theatre East (8 - 11 years); Take Out Youth Theatre (12 - 14 years) and Fusion Young Company (15 - 21 years).
